Thoughts on My Year-End, Top 10 Images List

If you keep scrolling down you’ll see it: my year-end list of 10 of the most memorable images that defined this blog from last year. As I went back at looked at the images I compiled, it came as no surprise that multiple photos are part of the Out on an Adventure: With Josh + Laura + Cal collection: the one from Laura Brokaw’s style profile, and the image promoting the release of the OOAA:W/J+L+C short film. OOAA:W/J+L+C is one of my more recent projects, but some of the images I selected date further back.

There’s Candace’s Scene&Heard photo shoot, one of the earliest projects I did. Also from Scene&Heard, at the fashion show’s after party was Calla. There’s also the Asian Carp Invasion collection. As well as the crowd favorite yellow laundromat post. There’s the timeless Hillsboro Village collection, and also the brilliant night photography collection. And last but not least my photo shoot with Scott and Katie, which dates back farther than anything I featured on the list.

I can’t wait to see what’ll be on 2011’s year end list.

Is it considered a taboo to quote yourself? Happy New Year folks. It was quite interesting over the course of 2010 to watch my personal style mature and evolve as the days rolled along. I learned a lot about what works and what doesn’t, as well as a lot about myself in general.

It’ll definitely be a captivating journey to see where I am come 2012, compared to where I stand today. I would say that it’d also be intriguing to see how I’ve changed when 2013 finally makes it here, but we all know life-changing doom and destruction is due our way at the end of 2012…so any references to the year 2013 are best left to an imaginary world.
