Madbury Mentions Me
Believe it or not folks, I’ve somehow managed to get my name mentioned among the hallow halls of the Madbury Club.
Like any other regular reader of the Madbury Club, I’ve been checking their website almost daily since their unexpected crash, for some sign of life or activity. Lo and behold, upon visiting Madbury yesterday, I was surprised to find a message featured on the site from a “Mr. Udoko from Tennessee”. (That’s me, if you’ve yet to catch on.) Word.

It may seem fairly simple, but it was pretty cool to see. How often does a Madbury reader get a mention? On top of that, I’ve been a devout reader of the Madbury Club since the Club’s inception about a year ago. It was actually the Madbury Club, along with it’s predecessor, the temporarily defunct Award Tour website, that inspired me to create TheCreativeRoutine. A handful of sites have had an indelible mark on TCR, but none has influenced what you see in front of you the way that Madbury has. And it’s also fair to say that without The Good Times blog on the Award Tour site, there would be no TheCreativeRoutine.
Needless to say, it was a cool sight to see my name on Madbury’s homepage. Not the way I always envisioned my debut on Madbury, but, eh, I’ll take it. Perhaps next time I’m featured on the Club (trust me there will be a next time), it’ll include info on what I do and you know…pictures of me.
